The Reason

I think a stable family is so important.  This world offers so much and is moving so fast. Family life brings the calming laughter to the situation.  

I grew up in a middle class family with a wonderful mom and dad. I didn't raise my children in that same type of environment.  I was a single parent doing the best I could.  

I was young, I worked very hard and I made ends meet. I made mistakes but I can truly say God kept us. There was lots of blood, sweat and tears. There were years I live from pay check to pay check. There were early AM walks in the dark,  pushing my youngest in her stroller to the sitter,  before I caught the bus to work.  There was a couple  of periods when I worked two jobs just to make ends meet.

 I'm very thankful to my village that helped me. A special thanks to my mom and sister. They treated my kids as though they were theirs. There were times when I really struggled. Times that I know no one knew about. 

I say all that to say with hard work, perseverance  and love, you can achieve anything.  There will be very hard times (I know this first hand) but you will be okay. Stay focus, cry when you need to, ask for help, take risk and enjoy life. 

My prayer is that this message reaches someone that think they are failing, discouraged, and or just need a simple boost. You are more than enough.
